The Panacea for Our Problems
Memory Verse: Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.


Text: Colossians 1:9–17
Introduction
What is a panacea?  “A remedy for all diseases or ills; cure-all;”

1.     Jesus delivered us from the Dominion of darkness
Colossians 1:13 (NKJV) 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

2.     Jesus Removed us from the Reign of Darkness and Resettled us in His Domain
Colossians 1:13 (NKJV) 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

3.     Jesus Released us from the Penalty of Sin
Colossians 1: 14 (NKJV) in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

4.     Jesus Expunged our Sins
Colossians 1: 14 (NKJV) in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

“forgiveness” -- debts cancelled. Sent away forever.

Clean slate program -- clean past records in order to overcome barriers to housing, education, and social benefits.
